A puppy social usually focuses on conversation, meeting the local community and relaxed pup play. A mosh normally includes a designated play area where attendees can move, crawl and interact under the organizer’s rules. Formats vary, so read the listing and any linked guidance before travelling. Our guide to crawling comfortably can also help you prepare for floor play.

Usually not. Many community events welcome newcomers without a hood or full gear, but the organizer may publish a dress code or venue policy. Wear something comfortable and appropriate for the event. If you are curious about equipment, read what a pup hood is and why people wear one and browse the pup play gear guide.

If an event is already public, you can submit a pup play event for editorial review. Organizers and community members can include the date, venue, age policy, ticket link and other practical details.
